Phil is the founder of our Somers office, which he established in 1989 with a vision to provide high-quality, community-based physical therapy focused on wellness, education, and treatment.
In addition to his degrees in Biology and Physical Therapy, he holds a Master’s in Public Health. He is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist and a Titleist Performance Institute Level One golf injury provider. His areas of expertise include sports medicine, spine care, and joint replacement rehabilitation. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, and exploring new culinary experiences. He is continually researching the latest evidence-based strength and training techniques to ensure his facility remains at the forefront of the field. |

Arnold has been a licensed physical therapist since 2000, beginning his career in the Philippines before moving to the United States in 2004. He completed additional training in Brisbane, Australia, where he was also a licensed physiotherapist, before ultimately choosing to work in the U.S.
Since then, Arnold has worked in numerous orthopedic facilities across the five boroughs of New York City and Long Island. He joined AON in 2010, where he treats a wide range of patients, including those with post-surgical, chronic, and sports-related conditions. Arnold is proficient in the application of kinesiotaping for orthopedic care and holds certification in LSVT therapy, specifically tailored for certain neurological conditions. Outside of his professional role, Arnold is passionate about the outdoors and frequently participates in activities such as hiking, biking, swimming, and visiting parks and museums with family and friends. He is also deeply committed to his church and community involvement. |

Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac College and has dedicated over 26 years to the field of outpatient orthopedics. Since joining AON in 2011, she has specialized in working with a diverse patient demographic, from student athletes to the geriatric population. Michelle is highly skilled in treating a broad spectrum of orthopedic conditions and injuries, including complex disorders of the spine and extremities. Her expertise includes advanced post-operative rehabilitation, with a particular focus on joint replacement therapy.
Michelle is committed to fostering strong patient relationships and takes pride in helping individuals restore their quality of life and return to the activities they enjoy. Apart from her professional endeavors, she enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. |

Phil earned his Bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Delaware. He then earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Bond University in Gold Coast, Australia, where he was also a licensed Physiotherapist. During that time, he gained experience in the areas of both inpatient and outpatient orthopedics, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological rehab.
His particular areas of interest include post surgical rehab, gait and balance training, and sports rehab. He enjoys getting to know his patients, which he believes helps in developing a personalized treatment plan for each individual. Outside of the clinic, Phil enjoys being active by hiking, running, playing pickleball and golfing. |

Claire Tsakanikas has been with AON since 2005, bringing over two decades of experience and dedication to the company. As Operations Manager, she ensures the smooth and efficient running of our offices by overseeing accounting, payroll, human resources, and serving as a billing liaison. Claire also provides support to both staff and patients, helping with a wide range of administrative needs.
Behind the scenes, Claire leads office improvement initiatives and collaborates closely with Facility Managers across locations to ensure every site runs at its best. Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves anything outdoors—biking, golf, and archery are just a few of the activities she enjoys. Claire also has a passion for cooking and baking, and is a devoted animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs. |

Danielle has been with the company for over 12 years. She knows insurance inside and out! She gathers all the information from your insurance company and is here to explain any questions you may have. She also works with your insurance company to get your visits here authorized. She has lived in Brewster for 24 years. She is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in NYC and is a very talented artist. She enjoys to do art as much as possible in her free time.
